Angelo State baseball finished off a four-game sweep by taking both games of a doubleheader at Texas A&M-Kingsville. The Rams have won ten games in a row and remain first place in the Lone Star Conference. In game one, the Rams scored in their final at-bat and won 4-3 in the only close game of the series. In game two, ASU won 9-2 to complete the sweep. Lane Hutchinson knocked in three runs in game two. Angelo State leads the nation in run differential and is outscoring their opponent by an average of seven runs per game. The Rams are back home this weekend to host St. Edward’s who’s third-place in the LSC.
