The playoffs start on Saturday at home for the Angelo State Rams who battle Bemidji State at 1pm at LeGrand Stadium at 1st Community Credit Union Field. The Rams are 9-2, winners of nine straight games, while Bemidji is 8-3 and coming off a win over top 20 team, Augustana. The Rams and Beavers have played once before, two years ago in San Angelo, in the second round of the playoffs, and ASU won 33-7 in a game that was much closer than the final score. Under Coach Jeff Girsch, the Rams are 3-1 at home in the D2 playoff since 2021. Gates open at 11:30 and you can listen on 101.9 KWFR-FM or kwfrfm.com starting at 12:30pm.
