- Axl Rose took to Twitter following Guns N' Roses' Queensland, Australia gig on November 24th, where he raged against certain fans' use of drones during the concert. Rose posted, in part, "Had a few drones this leg. Last night (Gold Coast Australia) was probably the most intrusive. Was a bit of a distraction as obviously someone thought it was just ok to be doing that but also it coming that close in front of the stage and then actually over n' on stage. . . It's not something we're all that used to. . . People were pissed. However much fun anyone's having ur still trying to stay focused n' do ur job n' give the fans the best show u can."
- Rose went on to write: "Anyway — we get it can b 'fun' to get ur drone bootleg vid but we'd appreciate it if anyone planning to b a drone pirate took the fans n' the band into consideration n' played w/ur toys somewhere else. Big thank you in advance!"

The two longtime bandmembers are currently embroiled in a legal battle over a corporate American Express band account, which Schon believes is being kept from him, while Cain accuses Schon of being financially strapped and trying to finance his lifestyle off the AmEx account.
- Schon tweeted a photo of himself and Journey co-founder Gregg Rolie — whom Cain replaced back in 1981 — and wrote: "2 original founding members. I think my brother Gregg Rolie should join us for 2023 tour. What do you think, friends? He will spice it up and we will have a great variety of songs to choose from. What would you like to hear for the 50th-anniversary tour?"

Buck shed light on when he knew he was ready to call it quits with R.E.M., telling Classic Rock, "When it got really big, I don't know if anyone really enjoys that. When the non-musical stuff became so intense, it took away some of the pleasure for me. It's just the stuff where you kind of wake up and go: 'God, I don't really want to have my picture taken today. And I don't really want to pretend to be an actor in some video where I can't act.'"
- He added: "It was never the reason I did it. And when we got to the point where we decided that it was the end, it felt like a great shared experience. I wouldn't change it, but I'm not gonna go back to it." (Classic Rock)
